Telling stories

After the 2010 midterms, things were looking grim the most fundamental pillars of the social safety net, primarily Social Security and Medicare. However, folks back in their communities were ready to fight back and they had great stories to tell. With the help of Democracy for America members, I developed a concept for a “Don’t Kill the Dream” campaign and wrote this TV ad. It aired in key districts where we believed new tea party republicans were vulnerable. I am happy to report that one of those vulnerable republicans, Allen West, is not coming back to Washington, DC.

The ad was was filmed and edited by GumSpirits Productions (Aaron Duffey and Jim Cole).
